About the School & Curriculum

My Education Online is a British online school offering live lessons in small class sizes for students across the UAE, GCC and worldwide. We provide a complete schooling pathway that prepares students for iGCSE and International A-Level examinations.

We follow the British curriculum, delivering a structured education that builds strong academic foundations, subject mastery and exam readiness.

We offer a range of core and optional subjects, including English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Geography, Economics, Business, Arabic and Spanish. Subjects offered may vary based on demand and level.

We are a British curriculum online school. Families are responsible for meeting any local home education regulations in their country of residence.

Our timetable operates on UAE time (GMT+4), making it ideal for students in the Middle East and while it could also suit students based in parts of Africa, Europe and Asia.

Yes. All lessons are taught live by qualified teachers to ensure interaction, engagement and real academic support.

Yes. All lessons are recorded and stored securely, allowing students to review lessons or catch up if they miss a session.

We keep our class sizes small with a maximum of 8 students per class (even less in younger classes) to ensure personalised teaching and meaningful progress.

My Education Online combines small class sizes (maximum 6 students) with live, interactive teaching and personalised academic support. We also go beyond traditional schooling by integrating future-ready skills, including Emotional Intelligence, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurial Skills and AI awareness across our programmes. Yes. Students follow a structured timetable Monday to Friday and attend lessons at set times for each subject. However, the timings of classes may vary and aren’t as rigid as in mainstream schooling.

Admissions & Enrolment

Yes. We accept mid-year transfers where class space is available.

We typically require a passport copy, parent ID, recent school report and completed registration form.

No formal entrance exam, but we may conduct a placement assessment to ensure correct class level.

Yes. We accept transfers from both online and traditional schools and those who have studied alternative curricula.

Yes, absolutely. We offer a 3-day Free Trial to all students whose parents are considering enrolling them with us.

Teaching & Learning

This varies by level, but students typically take anywhere between 12 – 23 live lessons per week plus independent study.

Yes, but only when it adds value. Homework is assigned purposefully—not for the sake of volume—to reinforce key concepts, develop independent thinking and prepare students for assessments when appropriate.

We provide digital resources. Some subjects may recommend additional textbooks (e.g. Reading texts for Languages).

Yes, absolutely. Student questions are an essential part of learning, and we actively encourage them in every lesson. Our small class sizes allow students to think critically, ask for clarification and engage in discussion, which leads to deeper understanding and stronger academic progress.

Yes. Students receive ongoing revision guidance and exam preparation support.

We use regular assessments, homework review, quizzes and teacher feedback to monitor progress.

Yes. Termly snapshot reports are issued and shared with parents/guardians. However, at the end of each academic year a more detailed and thorough report is written for each student and sent out to students and their parents/guardians.

Exams & Qualifications

Students prepare for iGCSE and International A-Level examinations.

Students sit exams as private candidates at approved exam centres in their country, often through British Council–facilitated venues.

Parents register students directly with exam centres. We guide families through the process.

Yes, we focus on exam strategies, timing and past paper practice.

No. External exam fees are paid separately to exam centres.

Yes, predicted grades are issued for students applying to universities or required by exam centres.

Yes. A-Levels are taken through internationally recognised exam boards from the UK and are accepted by universities worldwide.

Yes. Many students study with us and sit exams privately.

Exam registration typically happens 3–6 months before exam dates.

Technology & Requirements

A laptop or desktop computer, graphics tablet (XP-Pen G960S is the one we highly recommend and comes at a reasonable cost), webcam, microphone and strong internet connection are essential.

We use Zoom, which is integrated into our learning platform, ClassCard.

A printer is occasionally required but usually only for lower primary students.

No. At MEO, the use of a laptop or desktop computer is compulsory for all students. This ensures full participation in lessons, access to learning platforms, effective typing for assignments and proper engagement with academic tools used during lessons.

Students can watch the recorded lesson and catch up on missed work.

Student Support

Teachers provide individual help and may offer extra support sessions when needed.

Yes. We offer reasonable classroom support for SEN students where possible.

Yes. Alongside academic support, we provide mentoring that develops emotional intelligence, helping students build confidence, motivation, resilience and a positive learning mindset. Our teachers guide students not only academically, but also in areas such as goal setting, self-management and personal growth.

Parent Information

Parents should support attendance, punctuality (for younger students), homework routines and communication with the school. Please note, for older students we uphold higher standards and have greater expectations.

Parents can generally contact teachers by email or through ClassCard. For major concerns, meetings with teachers can be arranged via Zoom.

Yes. We welcome and encourage parental involvement, and parents are free to support, observe and monitor lessons when needed. We believe in working together with families to help every student succeed, and we maintain a transparent learning environment while also protecting student focus and classroom respect.

Yes. Parent meetings are available by request. In addition, we hold parent-teaching conferences twice per year, once in February and once at the end of the academic year.

Yes. MEO is an excellent option for homeschooling families who want structure, accountability and high-quality teaching while still maintaining flexibility. Fees & Payments

Yes. MEO offers exceptional value for money compared to both traditional international schools and other online schools. We are committed to delivering premium-quality education at accessible fees.

Yes. We offer a 5% Sibling discount for each additional child enrolled — please ask our team for details.

Digital learning resources are included. Some subjects may recommend textbooks but they will not be a necessity and are only offered when it is a student/parent preference.

No. External exam centre fees are separate.

Yes. Students can transfer back to traditional schools as the curriculum is recognised. We provide a certificate upon leaving, which stipulates the learning completed.

Yes. Students from any country can join our school. The only requirement is that all students enrolling speak English.
